Barely more than a whisper, Zephyrus captures the capricious wonder of the western winds. In Greek mythology, Zephyrus was one of the Anemoi – winged men bestowed with a cardinal direction. Known as kindest of his kin, the sweetness of his breath could grant life upon the frozen earth, reviving it from a long winter. A gust gathered during spring, it gently breaks a waning frost, turning ice into little rivulets of melting water as the world awakens from its long sleep. Billowing and effervescent, it lifts the heaviness of the cold toward the light of a new breaking day. from which it draws its name. A symbol of the seasons, Zephyrus reminds us that the only constant is change.
