DARAN

DARAN

Daran is inspired by Mazandaran weaving, where narrow panels of cloth are joined together to create a larger whole — a technique that appears throughout textile cultures of Central Asia and beyond. Its shifting linearity pays homage to this journey, creating a graceful stagger of line and form. It is a concise fable told in repetition, with no distinguishable beginning or end.
