SABBIA

The desert sands alter with the seasons like tides of the sea; the landscape, soft and yielding, folds over itself with the changing course of winds like a rich batter of golden dust. Its vastness is so profound it seems eternal – a place residing out of time itself. In the morning it is as bright as a star and at night it turns to silk, obsidian and deep. Sabbia holds some of the desert’s mystery in its fine texture – like a mirror, it captures the changing qualities of the sky, tracking the sun as it rises and falls.
