CALLIOPE

The most famous of the muses, Calliope presided over eloquence and poetry, lending divine inspiration to artists of every description. The most beloved of her patrons were those who wrote of heroic deeds, using their words to inspire the great epics that passed through the ancient world. A diaphanous, sheer linen with a touch of silk running through, Calliope honors these storytellers with long stripes running across its width. When strung in repetition, they bend and unfurl with long bands of color, evocative of a bard’s endless song, passed down over generations and time.
