Inspired by centuries-old cotton weaving traditions, Ju-Ju is based on a heritage textile from Ghana, a spirited composition of stripes and shots of embroidered color. Ju-Ju takes its name from the French word for “plaything,” and references the spiritual practice from West Africa. Its tactile presence is a reminder that the most ordinary objects can be infused with a certain kind of magic, meaning, and perhaps even luck.
