CHIMI

For centuries in the cloud forests of the Andes, artisans have recorded stories through the art of weaving, using fibers to create narratives and mark moments in time. Chimi, inspired by a Bolivian hand technique of the same name, has a subtle striated texture that echoes this tradition. Each strand is interwoven with the next, the hand-dyed color creating gentle gradations of dark and light, like the shifting colors of the day as it turns to night.
